Hallellujah! It’s back!
For the first time since 2016, Robbie’s Gourmet Sausage Company is making a special appearance at the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market this Saturday, August 18, 2018 and he’s bringing a special treat with him.
You’ll have the opportunity for just one day only to get your hands on Robbie’s Famous Breakfast Sandwich. It’s their handmade, grilled Kentucky-Style breakfast patty, with farmer’s cheese, griddle-cooked egg and topped with their house-made maple aioli, served on a toasted ciabatta bun.
I would recommend getting there early because it’s likely I’ll order his entire stock when I arrive. Seriously.
He’ll also be serving up his Irish Boilermaker, topped with his honey-bourbon mustard, red sauerkraut, dill pickle relish and crushed pretzels on a Blak’s Bakery bun.
This is serious, folks. Robbie has been begged by customers (mostly me crying at his doorstep at least once a week) for these sandwiches to return and now’s your chance to get your hands on one.
The Downtown Windsor Farmers Market is open from 8:00am to 1:00pm, but, I highly doubt the sandwiches will last until then.
