For one night, Eclectic Cafe in Kingsville, Ontario, will be offering the flavours of Mexican cuisine this weekend.
Chef Rob Nesbitt and Robbie Bornais (of Robbie’s Gourmet Sausage Company) are joining forces to host an evening of Mexican flavours this Saturday, January 14, 2023.
The cafe is locate at 7 Main Street East in Kingsville, Ontario.
The 6-course meal, which begins at 5:30pm, will feature dishes that are some of both the Rob’s favourite recipes:
- Warm tortilla chips and fresh salsa roja to start
- Chicken Tortilla Soup: braised chicken, bone broth, corn, avocado, crema, tortilla chip, Monterey Jjack cheese
- Chicharron: pork belly, mango salsa, Valentina hot sauce
- Aguachilie: shrimp, avocado, lime, cilantro, jalapeno, radish, pickled red onion
- Chicken Tinga Tacos with Mexican Rice: braised chicken in a pasilla pepper sauce, pico de gallo, aioli, salsa verde
- Mexican Pot De Creme: Mexican chocolate, cream, cinnamon, toasted peanuts
A cash bar will be open throughout the evening with a variety of cocktails and libations. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased by calling 226-787-0445. Limited seating is available.
