Attention all beer enthusiasts, five new brews have recently hit the market from breweries in and around Windsor, Ontario, and they’re bound to tickle your taste buds. So, let’s crack open a cold one and see what’s on the menu!

These five new beers are sure to satisfy any beer lover’s palate. Whether you’re looking for something classic, something sweet, or something with a little kick, there’s something on this list for everyone. So, grab a pint, sit back, and enjoy. Cheers!

BELGIAN GOLD

First up, we have Belgian Gold from Chapter Two Brewing Company. This beer has an ABV of 5.4 and an IBU of 26. Apparently, it’s so good that they had to say goodbye to their previous beer, Gourdie Howe, just to make room for it. Belgian Gold is a classic Belgian-style beer that’s sure to satisfy any beer aficionado. Just don’t let it go to your head, or else you might start speaking French.

ALL IN THE FAMILY

Next on the list is Sandwich Brewing Co. This West Coast Pale Ale from Happy Family Day weekend has an ABV of 5.5% and an IBU of 41. It’s got a nice balance of hops and malt, with a hint of sweetness and medium bitterness, topped off with a crisp finish. It’s the perfect beer to pair with your favourite sandwich (go figure), or even a salad if you’re feeling fancy.

WEE HEAVY LADDIE SCOTCH ALE

Moving on, we have Cured Craft Brewing in Leamington, Ontario. They’ve brewed up a seasonal, Wee Heavy Laddie Scotch Ale, that’s perfect for sipping by the fire. This beer has notes of chocolate, caramel, molasses, and butterscotch. It’s the perfect drink for a night in with a good book or a classic movie. Just be careful not to drink too much of it, or else you might start seeing kilts and bagpipes.

PACZKI BEER

Craft Heads Brewing Company have launched their annual collaboration with Blak’s Bakery. If you didn’t pre-order, don’t let that FOMO start acting up. At least not yet. A select number of cans and special edition bottles will be available to-go in the retail shop, but they’re expected to go fast. If you’re keen on having it fresh off the tap, we’ll be rotating kegs in and out so you can also enjoy it in the taproom!

The Paczki Beer is perfect for those with a sweet tooth, and it’s the perfect complement to any pastry or baked good. Just don’t blame us if you start feeling a little guilty after indulging.

Last but not least, we have Grove Brewing Co.’s Beacon Keeper Black Lager, which pairs perfectly with the restaurant’s new sandwich, The Marley Bird. The sandwich is a mouth-watering blend of deep-fried buttermilk chicken thigh, jerk sauce from Nerpy’s Hot Sauce Inc., and a pineapple aioli and pear citrus slaw, all sandwiched between a toasted potato bun.

It’s the perfect meal for those seeking bold flavours, and the Beacon Keeper Black Lager’s refreshing body of a light beer with the robust flavours of dark ale is the perfect complement to this fiery sandwich.
