You have the power!
Taking place May 11, 2024 at the WindsorEats Food Hall at 400 Erie Street East in Windsor, Ontario, the 2024 Masters of the Brewniverse invites breweries to showcase their creativity by submitting one-off beers that are exclusive for the festival. Attendees will also have the power as they get to vote for the People’s Choice award which is handed out alongside a winner that is chosen by a panel of judges to be the Master of the Brewniverse.
This unique event will pit brewer vs. brewer as their creative and exclusive one offs go head to head in a battle to be named Master of the Brewniverse!
Here’s everything that you need to know about the 2024 Masters of the Brewniverse.
WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS EVENT?
The one-day event, called Masters of the Brewniverse, is a celebration and friendly competition of one-off beers that are exclusive to the event, giving breweries the opportunity to showcase their creativity and win bragging rights. There will be two awards handed out: People’s Choice and the Master of the Brewniverse which will be decided by a panel of judges.
Breweries will be vying to take home the title of Master of the Brewniverse. Previous winners include The Beerded Dog and Cured Craft Brewing. 2024 is aiming to be the best year yet with the most breweries participating and our highest number of breweries from outside Windsor-Essex.
The nature of the event means that beers will be limited, so it’s a unique opportunity for craft beer lovers to get away from the same old and try something truly different. However, not only are the beers in limited quantity, so are the tickets.
WHAT BREWERIES ARE PARTICIPATING?
There will be 11 breweries taking part to take home the title. They include:

- Blood Brothers Brewing (Toronto, ON)
- Reigning Master of the Brewniverse, Cured Craft Brewing (Leamington, ON)
- Fogorig Brewing (Campbellford, ON)
- Frank Brewing Company (Tecumseh, ON)
- Grain & Grit (Hamilton, ON)
- Left Field Brewery (Toronto, ON)
- Lot 10 Brewery (Amherstburg, ON)
- Natterjack Brewing Company (West Lorne, ON)
- Red Barn Brewing Co. (Blenheim, ON)
- Rose City Beer Works (Windsor, ON)
IS THERE A BEER LIST FOR THE EVENT?

BEERS WILL BE IN LIMITED QUANTITY
The exclusive beers will be very limited in availability at the event. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Which means if you see one you like when we release our list, make a plan of attack to be certain you hit up the ones that really interest you first.
WHEN WILL THE EVENT TAKE PLACE?
Taking place Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the WindsorEats Food Hall, located at 400 Erie Street East. The session runs from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. The winners will be announced live at the event and be awarded their own championship belt to raise for the crowd.
The aim of the event is to be a fun competition to showcase the creativity of your brewers and potentially form a camaraderie and do our part in strengthening the craft beer industry through potential partnerships and collaborations.
Keep in mind the event is a partially/mostly outdoor event.

SO HOW DO YOU GET YOUR TICKETS?
First, due to the limited nature of the tickets, we recommend getting yours ASAP in our online shop. Tickets are $47. Each ticket includes 12 samples (5oz. each) and a commemorative tasting glass. That’s 60oz of beer for you to enjoy.
If there’s still room inside, tickets will be $50 cash at the door.
ASIDE FROM THE BEER, IS THERE A THEME?
Masters of the Brewniverse? He-Man? It’s 80’s themed, obviously, and 80’s attire is welcome and strongly encouraged. So, tease that hair and bust out the shoulder pads.
WILL THERE BE MUSIC?
We’ll be playing 80’s music all night long…..all night……all night long….
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Yep! We’re called the WindsorEats Food Hall, after all. Three different food trucks will be available to choose from: Rico Taco, Frylicious, and Kaeru Snack Bar.

HOW DO I VOTE FOR MY FAVOURITE BEER?
When you enter the event, not only will you be given your 12 drink tickets, you’ll also be given a golden ticket for you to write your favourite beer on to then place within the ballot box for people’s choice.
You may have noticed that there are 18 beers at the competition but only 12 tokens. That means you’ll have to plan your attach and make sure you’re hitting up the special, exclusive beers that you think will take home the title.
CAN I BUY EXTRA DRINKS?
While you won’t be able to buy extra sample tickets for the exclusive beers, you will be able to purchase other cocktails and beers that aren’t in the competition.
Also, once all the votes are in, any remaining beers will be available to purchase, but to enjoy at the WindsorEats Food Hall or to take home.
IS THERE PARKING?
While you’re coming to a beer festival and we encourage you to find an alternative way to get here and back home, we have parking on the street directly in front of the WindsorEats Food Hall, in the gravel lot behind (to the north towards the river), and in a municipal lot on Howard Avenue just steps away which is free after 6pm.
We ask that you please do not park in the New Beginnings spaces or in the Nizam Pastry lot. If you do, don’t be surprised if your car isn’t there when you leave.
