Rome’s Birthday – April 21

On Friday, April 21, Rome is turning 2776 years old this year and doesn’t look a day past 2500. To celebrate, WindsorEats will be throwing a festa that is all about the bella vita, with Italian inspired cocktails, food and music both new and old throughout the night.

The celebration begins at 5pm and will last through to midnight. Rome’s birthday is officially April 21 every year and since we’re located in Windsor’s Via Italia, we’re going to throw a birthday party celebrating the Eternal City!  The 2776th birthday party is free to attend.

Year Two of Masters of the Brewniverse is fast approaching and it’s looking to be bigger and better than last year.

Masters of the Brewniverse is a one day event that encourages friendly competition of one-off beers that are exclusive to the event, giving breweries the opportunity to showcase their creativity and win bragging rights.

There will be two awards handed out: People’s Choice and the Master of the Brewniverse which will be decided by a panel of judges.

Session One tickets are $47 and Session Two tickets are $50. Each ticket includes a branded Masters of the Brewniverse tasting glass and 80oz of beer. That’s 80oz of beer and for an event themed after an 80’s cartoon that just seemed appropriate.

Naturally, we’ll be playing the best hits from the 80’s throughout the event and, of course, 80s attire is entirely optional but welcomed and encouraged. Tickets are limited, so make sure to get yours ASAP

Cinco De Mayo – May 4-7

Who doesn’t love a celebration that includes tequila and tacos? Not us! From May 4-7, we’ll be hosting a weekend party for Cinco de Mayo that will include Mexican food and drink specials, live music, dancing, and more! Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo at WindsorEats‘ location at 400 Erie St. E. in Windsor, Ontario.

Our bar will also be pumping out classic cocktails like our popular margaritas and mojitos all day and night, all weekend long.

This year’s Tweed Ride promises to be even more exciting than before, with over 200 participants expected to join the parade. The event will start at WindsorEats, located at 400 Erie Street East in Windsor, where riders will fuel up for the day ahead. Then it’s time to pedal through Windsor’s streets to visit multiple locations before returning to WindsorEats for an afterparty complete with craft beer, cocktails, and live entertainment.

519 Day Party – May 19

Attention all Windsorites and lovers of the 519 area code! WindsorEats is throwing a party in celebration of everything Windsor, Ontario. On May 19th (or 5/19, get it?) we’re throwing a 519 Day Party that’s guaranteed to make you laugh, smile, and dance like no one’s watching.

The evening will run from 5pm to midnight and we’ll have an upbeat live acoustic performance from Windsor band, Huttch, headlining the entertainment.

Local labels Rare Apparel and Brand Dead will also be on site making Windsor themed apparel available to purchase, a Friday Night Lights ride will no doubt start and end at the party, allowing guests to venture out, explore Windsor and support other local businesses, too, and there will be a Windsor themed trivia put on by Mack Flash, too!

Of course, no WindsorEats party would be complete without some delicious local cuisine. In taking inspiration from our showcase of Windsor’s Most Iconic Foods, including things like Robbie’s Gourmet Sausage Co., whisky cocktails, and of course pizza.

Based off the thousands that attended last year, not much needs to be said. We’re bringing back the ridiculously popular Mexican Village for the Carrousel of the Nations and expanding it to be 3 days each weekend so you can enjoy even more Mexican food, drinks, and entertainment.

Canada Day Countdown – June 30

While there’s still few details as we confirm everything, WindsorEats will be hosting a Canada Day Countdown.

“What’s that?” you might be asking yourself. Well, it’s a Canada Day celebration that’s the day before Canada Day. We’ll be hosting live Canadian entertainment, cooking up classic Canadian food and serving great Canadian drinks. All this will lead up to a countdown to midnight where the clock strikes 12am and we officially enter Canada Day!
