Ladies and Gents, hold on tight to your handlebars because the Windsor Tweed Ride is back!

After a six-year hiatus, the most fashionable cycling event in Windsor, Ontario, is returning with a bang on May 13, 2023. Get your tweed jackets, bowties, and newsboy caps ready, and join the bike-riding parade of elegance and whimsy.

The Tweed Ride is a global sensation that started in London in 2009 as the “Tweed Run London.” Since then, it has spread across the world, capturing the hearts of cycling enthusiasts, fashionistas, and history buffs alike. The Windsor Tweed Ride made its debut in 2012, and the last event in 2017 was a huge success, leaving the participants clamouring for more.

This year’s Tweed Ride promises to be even more exciting than before, with over 200 participants expected to join the parade. The event will start at WindsorEats, located at 400 Erie Street East in Windsor, where riders will fuel up for the day ahead. Then it’s time to pedal through Windsor’s streets to visit multiple locations before returning to WindsorEats for an afterparty complete with craft beer and cocktails, and live entertainment.

While all bicycles are acceptable, the organisers are especially welcoming Penny Farthings. So, if you’re feeling extra adventurous, bring out your high-wheelers and wow the crowd. The Windsor Tweed Ride is not just a bike ride; it’s a celebration of elegance, history, and camaraderie. It’s an opportunity to dress up, ride a bike, and have a jolly good time.

So, dust off your tweed jackets, shine your brogues, and join the Tweed Ride on Saturday, May 13, 2023, for a day of fun, adventure, and all-around awesomeness.

Tickets are now available to purchase for $30 per person.
