October 15 Night Market Cancelled, But Outdoor Food Hall Still A Go

Well, we held off as long as we could, but good ol’ Mother Nature is certain she’s giving us a wallop of rainfall.

With the release of a new, not-so-nice weather statement sent out by Environment Canada, we’ve made the difficult decision of having to cancel the Night Market for Friday, October 15, 2021. That being said, the Outdoor Food Hall and our Wings & Whisky theme will still take place Friday through Sunday.

Rico Taco will be serving several different Mexican-influenced wingsRico Taco Serving Up 5 Styles of Wings At Outdoor Food Hall This Week and Thirsty Butler will also be serving wings and burgers.

Why was this decision made?

With the Outdoor Food Hall being under a massive canopy, protecting us from rainfall, we can still operate in a safe and dry manner. The Night Market takes place under the stars in the plaza at Lanspeary Park. This is why we can continue with the Outdoor Food Hall and not the Night Market.

The hours for the Outdoor Food Hall within the cover of the rink this weekend will be 5pm-9pm Friday, October 15, 3pm-9pm Saturday, and 3pm-8pm Sunday.

So What’s Next?

There is some good news! Next weekend will be Tacos & Tequila at the Outdoor Food Hall all weekend. We will also be hosting a Night Market on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23.

The Outdoor Food Hall’s final day of 2021 will be Sunday, October 24, 2021.
