Wanting to enjoy a drink and a bite at your favourite local establishment but not wanting to leave your four-legged friend behind? We’ve compiled a list of restaurants, breweries and wineries in and around Windsor, Ontario, who are pet friendly so you can bring them along with you.
We’re sensing a trend here with breweries and dogs. Chapter Two‘s servers love dogs and always make sure there is water in their dog bowl. They also have a safe space which is off the main street to create a more quiet, airy and spacious environment.
Beers and pooches seem to be a big thing. Frank Brewing now have an extended our patio which includes a grassy area for a more laid back feel that’s perfect for your pup to lay on. They can also hydrate as Frank have water bowls and treats available.
Presented by St. Clair College and the Alumni Association, the Outdoor Food Hall turns Lanspeary Park’s outdoor rink into the city’s largest patio. It features multiple restaurants and chefs all on a single menu and it’s licensed to serve beer and wine, too! Since the rink has a massive canopy overtop, it also protects guests from the summer sun and any rain, offering an all-weather patio.
Are there bowls or treats? Nope. Not Phog Lounge‘s, style. But, pups are allowed and there’s some pretty awesome graffiti!
Sandwich Brewing loves showcasing all the pups that visit on their social media. Their patio offers dog friendly service with water bowls and samples of their very own spent grain dog treats.
Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery has loads of space to roam. You can bring your doggo into the winery or take them for a walk down to the beach while enjoying a glass of wine. Inside the winery, they have local dog treats from Pawsitivly a Dog Thing as well as lots of dog novelty items.
Water is always available for your pooch, too. Just remember, please keep them leashed when on the property.
Walkerville Brewery is always excited to welcome their 4 legged friends. Did you know that not only do they have great human merch, they also have brewery merch like bandanas for your pup? And, of course, they keep you pal hydrated with water bowls, too!
Wolfhead Distillery has a grassy area that their customers who sit adjacent to it can tether their dogs while enjoying lunch or dinner on their patio. The distillery also supplies dog bowls with water.
