THOM’S IRISH RED ALE
GL Heritage Brewing Co.

Look what’s GL Heritage is bringing back for the season!

Rich amber in colour, Thom’s Irish Red Ale is very smooth and sessionable, balancing a sweet, caramel maltiness with a low hop finish.

As many know, there is always a story behind every GL Heritage beer style. So, why is this one called Thom’s Irish Red Ale?

The century farmland the brewery is built on has housed many consecutive generations of Waldrons, and the 7th bloodline generation is raising the 8th clan and brewing beer here today. The first generation owner was a direct immigrant from Ireland, Thomas Waldron. After passing through Kingston, Thomas and his family, along with a best friend, landed in Amherstburg and settled in to establish the start of our long-running and very proud community roots. This soil has supported the family now for 172 years as of March, 2021. So, Thom’s Irish Red Ale is a special ‘liquid ode’ dedicated to the Irish forefather who started it all.

Available on tap and in tallboys.
