This Saturday, January 11, 2020, Robbie’s will roll out the brand new French Onion sausage.
The sausage is made using traditional French onion soup culinary techniques. This includes onions caramelized in butter, a red wine reduction and simmered in the most amazing beef broth. The soup is then concentrated through reduction and infused it into the links.
Robbie Bornais, owner of Robbie’s Gourmet Sausage Co. and sausage maker extraordinaire, recommends serving it topped with Gruyere or Swiss cheese, fresh green onions and on toasted garlic bread.
