Paglione Estate Winery is known for their wine and wood oven pizza, but, they’ve recently expanded their menu and people have been raving about it.
After filling ourselves up with what was on offer, these three dishes were ones we thought you absolutely needed to try on any visit.
BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIBS
Absolutely delicious. These locally sourced short ribs are braised bone-in. The winery makes use of their Cabernet Franc (what the wine region is known for) in the demi glaze and place it on top of a rutabaga mash.
BUTTERNUT SQUASH QUINOA SALAD
Looking for something lighting that doesn’t skip on the flavour? This salad includes roasted butternut squash with quinoa, red onion, dried cranberry, toasted pumpkin seeds, goat cheese and a lovely maple vinaigrette.
PASTA WITH LAMB RAGU
A rustic dish that has been a Paglione family favourite for generations. The pappardelle noodle is generously covered in a tomato braised lamb ragu before being finished with a dollop of mint ricotta.
