Muskoka Brewery has announced their beer lineup for the 2019 Windsor Craft Beer Festival taking place October 18-19.

The Bracebridge, Ontario, craft brewery is participating for the first time in the festival. Here are the beers being lugged down the 401 to be served:

CRAFT LAGER (Lager)

This is one of their year round staples. Like the region it’s from, this all-malt Muskoka Craft Lager is a getaway from the average. Carefully aged and handcrafted to be uniquely flavourful, this classic lager is remarkably easy-drinking. And in case you see a little haze and sediment, that’s a good thing, and totally natural – a result of a pure, unfiltered brewing process.

DETOUR (Session IPA)

This beer is easy drinking and refreshing. One of Ontario’s first ISA’s, this dry-hopped brew is truly sessionable, with a rewarding tropical aroma, big hop flavours and a clean finish. The result is a perfect balance of big flavours, with lower alcohol.

HARVEST ALE (Pale Ale)

The seasonal Harvest Ale marks the end of the growing season and the process of gathering mature crops from the fields. Since 2017, Muskoka Brewery have worked with local farmers across Ontario to brew a true reflection of Ontario’s harvest in this beer. It’s brewed with all-Ontario ingredients. The Harvest Ale is malt forward, soft biscuit flavours that transform into notes of mango, grapefruit, and stone-fruit.

GHOST-OUT (White Stout)

Part of the October Moon Light Kettle series, Muskoka Brewery’s experimental brewing program. “What is that”, you ask? Well, twelve staff trios have broken into whispers over barrels, ledgers, and tanks to create the ultimate Moonlight Kettle lineup for 2019. At Muskoka Brewery, they thrive on a little healthy competition.

The ultimate goal for staff? To have their team’s brew featured in the next Survival Pack, otherwise known as a Moonlight Kettle graduate. From liquid to label, this program gives folks from each department the opportunity to flex their left side brain in the brew house. It also means sharing and enjoying some out-of-this world creations with you.
