Saturday is World Whisky Day and there’s no better place to celebrate it than in Whiskytown, Canada!
Get out and enjoy these 3 delicious, whisky-based cocktails in Windsor, Ontario this weekend to celebrate.
NEW YORK SOUR
F&B

Can’t decide between whisky or wine? Have both. While it’s not on their current menu, the bartenders at F&B are always pleased to serve you a New York Sour. It’s your traditional whisky sour with a red wine float on top. The drink is a balance between sweet and sour with a velvety texture.
POMANDER
THE BLIND OWL

The owner of The Blind Owl, Mark Dutka, uses Whiskytown Canada made Lot. 40 rye whisky as the base in the beautiful cocktail. Throw in some falernum, orange bitters and a burning clove orange peel garnish and you have a cocktail that pleases all of your senses.
SMOKED MANHATTAN
WOLFHEAD DISTILLERY

When a fire needs to be started to make your cocktail, you know you’re in for some serious business. The craft distillery uses apple wood chips to smoke their whisky as well as vermouth and bitters before putting it in a glass for you to enjoy.
