With the arrival of St. Patrick’s Day, it also means the arrival of another celebration at Motor Craft Ales: Aye.-P.A. Week!

Every year, Motor Craft Ales showcases a bevy of I.P.A. brews in a jubilee of sorts focusing on this well-known style of beer. Why do they call it “Aye.P.A.”? Well, because the Irish say “aye” a lot and it’s launched on St. Patrick’s Day, of course!

The nano brewery is launching 6 custom built I.P.A.’s just for the week of March 17-25, 2018. They’re limited batches so be sure to get there while they last.

Here’s a look at the 6 creations that will be available just for Aye. P.A. Week:

MC FLY MILKSHAKE IPA

Thick and slick IPA, brewed with a different in-season fruit each batch. Wheat, oats, and lactose are used to create a milkshake mouth feel. Hop flavours of berry-citrus pear. Fruit this batch: pineapple.

ABV: 6.2% IBU: 62 SRM: 8

 

CHOP TOP AMERICAN IPA

Pineapple and mango full nose. Slightly sweet, malty flavour followed by berry and tropical fruit with a hint of citrus.

ABV: 5.9% IBU: 52.5 SRM: 4.5

 

BLACK MIRRORS IPA

Flavour driven. In this journey you will see your reflection in the black depths of hell, a hop loaded bomb. A west coast IPA that boasts malt flavours of a stout but drinks with a light body with tons of hops.

ABV: 7.2% IBU: 50.2 SRM: 29.6

 

FORD CITY FUNK IPA

This tart beer was aged for 6 months on peaches, rose hips and coriander with Brett yeast, double dry-hopped with Apollo and Calypso. This beer delivers a funky, fruity profile. Now say “funk n’ fruity” 20 times fast.

ABV: 5.6 IBU: 24.8 SRM 4.4

 

HADRON COLLIDER NEW WORLD BARLEY WINE

A big beer with a big hop flavour. Malty and dry. Grapefruit, pineapple, floral and pine dominates the aroma. While passionfruit and citrus hop character shines though, finishes with a strong but short lasting bitterness.

ABV: 11.9% IBU: 96.5 SRM: 18.9

 

FUNK FUEL NEIPA

Hazy and juicy. Strong aromas of pineapple, mango, watermelon and grapefruit.Restrained bitterness and a sweet finish.

ABV: 6.9% IBU: 46.3 SRM: 5.4
