May 24, 2014: Experience Tea with Joseph Wesley

May 24, 2014: Learn to Make Sausages with Robbie’s Gourmet Sausage Co.
Rob Bornais of Robbie’s Original Gourmet Sausage Co. will be on hand at Rino’s Kitchen to guide you through the process of making your own homemade sausages from scratch. Rob will make a traditional sausage as well as a unique flavour that he is becoming famous for. This class will run approximately 2.5-3hrs and includes beer sampling from Walkerville Brewery to accompany the sausage sampling. You will also be taking home approximately 2-3lbs of sausages to cook at home.
May 28, 2014: National Hamburger Day
A day dedicated to the hamburger would be a great opportunity to try one of these great Windsor-Essex burgers.
May 31, 2014: Bikes & Beers, Returns for Leukemia Edition
Dust off your bikes because it’s time for the WindsorEats annual Bikes & Beers Returns for Leukemia Cycling Tour!
WindsorEats is hosting our annual Bikes & Beers Returns for Leukemia Cycling Tour on May 31, 2014 with stops at local breweries and pubs in Windsor.
We’ll even be making a stop for a tour inside the famous Canada House.

Ma y 31, 2014: Opening Day at the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market
The Downtown Windsor Farmers Market returns for the 2014 season and runs every Saturday from May 31 to October 11, 2014, in Charles Clark Square. New this year will be the addition of our local wineries selling their wines.
June 2, 2014: Pelee Island Half Marathon

Join us for Windsor’s original Morning Stroll tour!
We’ll wind you through historic Walkerville and experience behind-the-scene fun at some of our favourite food and drink establishments in this old company town. Find out for yourself why Walkerville was named of the Canada’s best neighbourhoods by This Old House magazine.
Previous Morning Stroll tours have included participants learning how to pull the perfect espresso and making their own scones from scratch.
June 7, 2014: Drinks of Walkerville Walking Tour
The Drinks of Walkerville tour celebrates what is unique and exceptional about where we live. Windsor has a vibrant and colourful history along an international border that many have no knowledge of. With a resurgence of interest in the Canadian Club brand through hit television programs Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire, guests can learn all about a history of smuggling and gangsters during prohibition from a uniquely Canadian perspective, as well as the history of the company town, Walkerville.

On Saturday, June 14, 2014, join Oxley Estate Winery for the first of their Howl at the Moon summer series.
Enjoy a paired meal along with the wonderful trio known as Transeo, a local Windsor band, who prides themselves in breaking boundaries and transcending across all cultures.
June 14, 2014: Bikes & Beers Cycling Tour
Couldn’t make it on May 31? Here’s another chance to make it out on a Bikes & Beers Cycling Tour. There’s no better way to celebrate a ride than over some beers with friends. Cycle through the streets of Windsor, Ontario, sampling beers at local breweries and pubs. During your Bikes & Beers tour, we’ll introduce you to some of our favourite local craft beers as well as a few tastes of unique imports.
June 21, 2014: Wine Trail Ride
Meander the through the farmlands along the Lake Erie coastline a la bicyclette and fall in love with Canada’s southernmost region.
Our friendly cycle guide will lead you to enjoy world-class wines and tours at Essex Pelee Island Coast wineries and then finish the day with the Wine Trail Ride’s signature long table feast made from locally sourced ingredients.
We’ll roll through the scenic, flat countryside at a leisurely pace and take in the sights, sounds and smells of a burgeoning wine appellation.
June 27, 2014: Friday Night Lights
WindsorEats is planning a new bike tour…and it’ll be free!
Our Friday Night Lights tour will take guests out on the town to explore the night life in Windsor. The catch: since it’s a night ride you’ll need lights on your bike and the more lights the better!
If you don’t have lights for your bike, we’ll also have bikes available for rent with special lighting to light up the night with designs and colours to make every passerby turn and see.
