WindsorEats is hosting a weekend of birthday celebrations!
From WindsorEats’ birthday to owner Adriano’s birthday to the birthday of some of our friends, we’re celebrating all weekend long with some fun and specials! Here’s a look at everything we’ll have going on this week at our location in Via Italia.
WindsorEats Turns 19!
On Thursday, June 1, 2023, we’ll be celebrating WindsorEats turning the legal drinking age in Ontario! The patio will be open from 5pm to 9pm with our entire selection of craft beers from across Ontario available for 25% off the menu price. Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather!
Putting On The Spritz
Then, on Friday, June 2, the celebrations continue. First, there’ll be a with some new cocktails on the menu (don’t worry, the margaritas aren’t going anywhere) as you can’t truly enjoy a patio on a hot day without a spritz.
Friday Night Lights
As always, our Friday Night Lights bike ride will also take place on June 2, bringing folks on their bicycles to 2 locations across the city core.
Friday Night Lights is a pub and grub crawl on two wheels throughout the city. You not only get to enjoy the company of good folks, you also can indulge in the food and drink of the great establishments visited along the way.
Friday Night Lights begins at our space, located at 400 Erie St. E, at 8pm. This will allow folks to come early for some food and drink with us or to stay after the ride.
It’s Trivia Night!
Our weekly trivia night will take place on Friday at 8pm, too! A trivia night struck the perfect balance to head out on a Friday night, enjoy some of our much talked about cocktails and ever changing food menu, and say you did something rather than sitting on your sofa and staring blankly at a wall wondering about the days you were the master of the weekend.
Friday Night Trivia at WindsorEats takes place each and every Friday at 8pm and is hosted by none other than Mack Flash.
Zoey’s Sweet 16 Puppy Party
That’s right! Adriano’s dog and WindsorEats’ unofficial mascot, Zoey, turns 16 years old and we think it deserves a party. Her Sweet 16 birthday party will run from 12pm to 3pm. During this time there will be dog treats and “doggy beer” available on the menu to purchase, too!
We encourage you to bring your pups as Syx Langemann Photography will be on site to take photos of you and your fur babies. Also legit sharing his birthday with his dog is Adriano. Like, for realsies. He’ll be on site working because he’s a small business owner and that’s what happens.
TAILGATE TAKEOUT BIRTHDAY!

On June 3 starting at 6pm and going well into the night, we’ll also be celebrating the birthday of our fellow food loving friend, Jen Brignall-Strong of Tailgate Takeout. The avid taco and margarita enthusiast wants everyone to join her in celebrating her special day on one of her favourite patios in YQG (aww we’re touched.)
FREE CUPCAKES!
What’s a birthday party without cake? Starting at 6pm, both WindsorEats and Tailgate Takeout have splurged to hand out free cupcakes made by our neighbours, Sweet Revenge Bake Shop.
These assorted cupcakes will be in limited supply and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
BIGG WIGGLE IS PLAYING

To keep the celebration going into the night, one of Windsor’s much loved bands, Bigg Wiggle, will be playing on the WindsorEats patio beginning at 8pm.
The band has been getting people up and dancing for 30 years now and we can’t wait for the energy they’re going to bring to the party!
