The excitement was palpable at the 2023 Masters of the Brewniverse event held at WindsorEats this past weekend.
Craft beer enthusiasts from around the region gathered to celebrate as breweries showcased their unique creations, hoping to earn the prestigious title of the Master of the Brewniverse.
The competition was fierce, with 6 breweries bringing their A-game. The atmosphere was friendly, lively and very 1980’s, with everyone enjoying the opportunity to share their passion for brewing and beer.
Not only did judges vote for a champion, people came in their best 80’s attire to this unique event and took plenty of notes (and samples) before wielding their power to choose the People’s Choice winner.

- Chapter Two Brewing Company,
- Cured Craft Brewing
- The Beerded Dog
- Frank Brewing
- Grain & Grit
And The Winners Are…
After over 200 votes were tallied, with votes for each beer submitted, the people had spoken and the winner of the People’s Choice Award was…
The Beerded Dog from Harrow for their Slush Puppy Sour!
Its greenish-blue colour was eye-popping, but what really stole people’s hearts was the edible glitter infused into the beer. The Beerded Dog took home last years title of Master of the Brewniverse.

Cured Craft Brewing Co. from Leamington, Ontario for their French Biere de Garde!!!
It’s a French specialty style of beer brewed in the northeast region of France along the border to Belgium. It’s a strong, malt-accentuated, lagered artisanal beer that’s malt forward with toasty-rich, biscuity, and toffee-like complex malt character.

We got you! today we’ll be offering each and every beer showcased at Masters of the Brewniverse at WindsorEats, located at 400 Erie Street East. You can either enjoy them in our space or on the patio, or even take them to go. All quantities are in limited supply.
