Ok, I know this is technically happening on a Thursday, but who’s really keeping track of what day is what anymore? Plus, it’s close enough to the weekend to count.

Walkerville Eatery is bringing back their Caesarfest on May 19, 2022, which just happens to be National Caesar Day. Cost is $15 to get in which includes your first Caesar (or any drink). There will also be live entertainment playing throughout the evening.

Caesarfest takes place from 3pm to 11:30pm.

Friday Night Lights Bike Ride

Fun at Friday Night Lights in Windsor, Ontario.

The most colourful bike ride in Ontario has begun another season of exploring the city of Windsor.

Imagine the sight of hundreds of colourfully lit cyclists roll by, bells clacking, as they partake in a casual roll on two wheels, exploring the city. Riders are always trying to outdo each other with their decorations on each ride. If you pay close enough attention, you may catch a glimpse of the couple on a tandem bike which has custom built chandelier installed to hang over them as they ride.

Each and every Friday, riders meet up at 7:30pm at 400 Erie St. E., in Windsor. We then take guests out on the town to explore the night life in Windsor. The catch: since it’s a night ride you’ll need lights on your bike. The more lights the better!

While not mandatory, we encourage guests to deck out their bikes in bright lights to light up the night and enjoy the company of good folks and the flavours of three great establishments we visit along the way.

Tickets can be purchased online.

Downtown Windsor Farmers Market

The Downtown Windsor Farmers Market is always a treat to stroll through on Saturday mornings. You’ll always find farm fresh fruit and vegetables, get some donuts or other fun treats, and be able to stroll through some of the fun shops.

It really does make for a great Saturday morning.
