The popular Walkerville restaurant, Twisted Apron, has announced they will be making a big move into some brand new digs.

The eatery will be one of the first to make the move to the historic Strathcona Building at the corner of Devonshire and Wyandotte St. E. The building was originally built by world renowned architect, Albert Kahn, and is currently being restored by the Rosati Group. The plans are for the restaurant design to have a brighter cleaner look and will feature dining areas, a bar, a larger full commercial kitchen and exterior pick up window and patio.

According to the Rosati Group website:

“Having hands-on landlords who are involved with their tenants, and that can build out my space, was very important to me. So far, Rosati has been great to deal with, very organized and understanding of my needs.” Kate Robinson, Owner, The Twisted Apron

The move is expected to happen when the building restoration is complete, which is expected to be the summer of 2022.
