What’s that sound you hear? It’s the sound of WindsorEats bringing home three Ontario Tourism Awards from the Ontario Tourism Summit in Ottawa, Ontario.
We are so excited, honoured and proud to have won awards in 3 of the 5 categories we were nominated in.
INNOVATION: CYCLING

The first award was for Innovation in Cycling for tourism in Ontario for our Wine Trail Rides. With 2020/21 being our 12th/13th Wine Trail Rides seasons, the pandemic forced us to rethink our experience. It resulted in a wonderfully fun time had by all tasting 14+ different wines while exploring the region on two wheels.
COLLABORATION: FESTIVALS & EVENTS
Remember our Outdoor Food Hall? It won for Collaboration in Festivals & Events! With the support of the City of Windsor and St. Clair College, WindsorEats collaborated with YQG Made to host a Holiday Makers Market in conjunction with the Outdoor Food Hall in 2020.
COLLABORATION: FOOD SERVICE
Hello, award? It’s me, Food Hall. The Outdoor Food Hall won its second award for Collaboration in Food Service!
We just win 3 @TIAOtweets awards!!! We couldn't have come close to achieving that kind of success without our amazing team.

We weren’t the only ones from the region to win an Ontario Tourism Award. Phog Lounge and Meteor took home the Innovation in Beverages award for their Gravy Train as well as . If you don’t know what the Gravy Train is, they would send a local musician for an intimate live performance on your front porch during the pandemic. They’d also send along some delicious Phog Lounge poutine (hence the Gravy) and some beer from Craft Heads Brewing.
Iron Kettle Bed & Breakfast also took home an award for Innovation in Accommodation.
We are so proud of and happy for Phog Lounge, Meteor and Iron Kettle for their wins!
