It’s Burgers & Beers this weekend at the Outdoor Food Hall and Smokies BBQ is going all out with 6+ burgers that are exclusive to their food hall menu.
The Outdoor Food Hall presented by St. Clair College and the Alumni Association will be hosting a Burgers & Beers themed weekend on Friday, October 1-3, 2021. Each of the participating food vendors will offer multiple creative and delicious burgers from you to choose from. WindsorEats will also be serving up a wide selection of craft beers to help wash down all the tasty goodness.
There will be at least 10 different burgers being offered by 3 vendors and many different craft beers to pair them with and Smokies BBQ is going above and beyond the call of duty with an incredible lineup of deliciousness.
Here’s a look at 3 of the burgers Smokies BBQ is cookin’ up this weekend at the Outdoor Food Hall in Lanspeary Park:
GRILLED PINEAPPLE BURGER
The sweetness of the grilled pineapple with the smokiness of the charcoal Smokies BBQ cooks all their burgers over creates a thing of beauty. A 9oz beef patty is topped with lettuce, creamy pickle sauce, Smokies BBQ sauce, two grilled pineapple slices, and cheddar cheese.
PROVOBELLO BURGER
Thick slices of Portobello mushrooms add a delightful texture and earthiness to this burger. It’s a 9oz beef patty topped with said Portobello mushrooms, grilled onions, Provolone cheese, Smokies BBQ sauce, jalapeño lime and lettuce.
MAC N CHEESE BURGER
Not only is there mac n cheese piled on top of this 9oz beef patty, but an extra layer of cheddar cheese and melted and smoked overtop for extra cheesiness. Because, cheese.
It’s also piled with pickles and Smokies BBQ sauce.

In addition to the 3 burgers above, Smokies BBQ will also be serving a Spicy Jerk Burger, a Lamb Burger, their Hooooly Burger and their popular Smoked Pulled Rib Burger.

Rico Taco is ditching tacos for Burgers & Beers and will be serving up a selection of Mexican themed burgers, including their monstrous Birria Burger.
Chef Anthony Dalupan is also making his return to the Outdoor Food Hall. His feature Johnny Burger will be a smashed patty burger braised in beer onions, served with mushrooms on a brioche bun and topped with Swiss fondue. Can you say yum?!?

The Outdoor Food Hall turns Lanspeary Park’s outdoor rink into the city’s largest patio. It features multiple restaurants and chefs all on a single menu and it’s licensed to serve beer and wine, too! Since the rink has a massive canopy overtop, it also protects guests from the summer sun and any rain, offering an all-weather patio. The Outdoor Food Hall is a digital, contactless, cashless event, with all ordering and payments done through your own mobile device.
It runs this Friday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday from 3:00pm to 9:00pm and Sunday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.
