APPLE JACK’D RYE ALE
GL HERITAGE BREWING CO.

Just released for its 3rd season

Described as juicy, smooth and refreshing, this ale has just a hint of apple sweetness, very low hop finish (11 IBU) and has bit of a kick on the finish with an ABV of 7%.

As with every beer from GL Heritage, there is a story behind this name. First, the brewery wanted to launch a fall beer style, but, one different than a common pumpkin beer. Always wanting to honour local, they decided the apple orchards that are plentiful in Windsor-Essex were the perfect partner to complement their agricultural-based brewery. This ale (although it technically falls into the fruit beer category) is infused with gently-spiced, fresh-pressed apples from Meleg Orchards and then blended with Apple Caramel Whiskey from our neighbours at Wolfhead Distillery.

Considering the brewery owners many tributes to the 7 generations of their family who have lived on this century farmland before us, they decided this beer would give a nod to Jack Waldron, two generations before prior, who retired as Master Blender and Taster at Hiram Walker. It’s a perfect nod to family, to the regions agricultural importance and also the rich whisky history in Windsor-Essex.

NANA’S PUMPKIN PIE BEER
CURED CRAFT BREWERY

Cured’s apprentice brewer, Josh (who also happens to be the son of the owners) has a Nana who loves him very much.  She has given each of her grandchildren a nickname and Josh’s just happens to be “Pumpkin Pie”.

When enjoying this beer, you’ll taste fall inspiration with a slight sweetness and immediately transported to times enjoyed with grandparents and family around the holiday table.

RIVERSIDE BROWN ALE
WALKERVILLE BREWERY

Riverside Brown Ale is Walkerville Brewery’s homage to one of the famous “Original 6” breweries of Windsor-Essex, founded on Riverside Drive in 1926. Riverside was famed for it’s smooth tasting English style Ales and European Lagers. This Brown Ale is rooted in this heritage and is a light brown, smooth drinking beer that is late hopped with English East Kent Goldings.
