Vine + Ash used their pandemic pause to reinvent their menu and have recently reopened with a new, more casual menu for the summer.

The restaurant, located in Tecumseh, Ontario, is inspired by lighter style of cooking with influences from the Mediterranean, including Israel, Turkey, Greece and modern day Jerusalem.

Here are three items on the new menu that we think are work a try.

We’re sure you’ve had hummus and baba ghanoush, but, have you had Muhammara? You should, especially the way chef Ryan Odette makes it. Vine + Ash’s Muhammara is a spread that is roasted red peppers, hazelnuts, pomegranate molasses, salt, lemon juice and Aleppo pepper. It’s also served with pomegranate glazed pork belly.

POTATO LATKE

Potato pancakes of perfection. That’s what we will now know them as. Topped with some smoked salmon, dill and sour cream.
