Two larger scale St. Patrick’s Day events in Windsor, Ontario, have been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.
Thompson House was the first to cancel their outdoor celebrations. To be in accordance with provincial regulations banning gatherings larger than 250 people, the pub cancelled their popular annual celebration which normally draws hundreds to celebrate indoor and outdoor on their property. The building itself will still remain open.
Following suit, Walkerville Brewery also cancelled their larger scale St. Patrick’s Day event schedule. The brewery will continue to remain open for regular business hours from 11am to 6pm with limited capacities, hours and offerings.
