After several seasons of switching places and shifting spaces, the Amherstburg Farmers Market has found a permanent placement at a county business with hometown roots planted firmly in the ground.

Celebrating their 10th year of serving the residents of Amherstburg and the greater Essex County, the Amherstburg Farmers Market is pleased to announce it will be spending the 2020 market season at the home of Amherstburg’s first full-service craft brewery, GL Heritage Brewing Company, located at 8728 Howard Avenue. This agricultural-based, small batch, and local family-run brewery is a convenient 200m from the former market location known as the landmark ‘Little White Church’.

The market season is set to start Saturday, May 16, 2020, and will be held every Saturday from 8:30am until 1:30pm on the grounds of GL Heritage. Each week will showcase approximately 20 high-quality vendors featuring produce and crafted products from Essex County.  You will have access to fresh seasonal vegetables, fruit, herbs, fresh-cut flowers and more.

The Amherstburg Farmers Market and GL Heritage will also host local talent and family-friendly attractions featured on different weekends.
