The final Street Food Fare of 2019 is taking place this weekend at Lanspeary Park and it’s going to be one heck of a tasty, gluttonous affair. There’ll be some new vendors, some old vendors, some more beer and cocktails for you to indulge in.

Here’s a look at some of the treats and vendors you’ll be able to dig into:

 

WINDSOREATS

Not only will WindsorEats be doing our Mexican Street Corn (elotes) for likely the last time, but, we have another special treat lined up. We’ve partnered with the amazing chef David Dimoglou and St. Clair College and serving up some Island Chicken.

 

GRAND CANTINA

Everybody loves tacos. You’ll be able to choose from barbacoa (slow roasted beef), carnitas (smoked pulled pork) and vegan chorizo. They’ll also have chips with guacamole and their house smoked tomatillo salsa.

 

30ML COFFEE CO.

Love coffee? Love cocktails? Well, now you can have both at once. 30ml Coffee Co. will be on site serving up cocktails made with their signature cold brew coffee.

 

KONA ICE

New to the Street Food Fare, Kona Ice will be keeping everyone cool with flavourful shaved ice. The kids will love these.

 

WALKERVILLE EATERY

Another first for the Street Food Fare, Walkerville Eatery will be doing 2 special treats that they’ve made a name for themselves with: sliders and Caesars. Yup. We said Caesars.

 

ROAD CHEF

Mozza Bombs and Road Chef are synonymous with each other. The cheesiest mozzarella sticks you’ll ever get your hands on.

 

RIVERSIDE PIE CAFE

Dessert is served! This Cookies n’ Cream “sundae” pop from Riverside Pie Cafe is a vanilla bean cream pop dipped in chocolate and dusted with Oreo crumble. Did we mention it’s made with Kawartha Dairy cream? They’ll also be selling all other sorts of baked goods.

 

LITTLE FOOT FOODS

It doesn’t matter what flavours they serve up, Little Foot Foods pierogies are some of the best you’ll ever have.

 

THE GROVE BREW HOUSE

Coming all the way from Kingsville just to fill your belly. Everyone knows them for their beer, but, they’re going to show you that they aren’t slouches in the kitchen.

 

THE FROSTY PINEAPPLE

The temperatures are starting to rise and the perfect treat to celebrate are gourmet ice pops. The Frosty Pineapple makes a variety of flavours, but, we also get lured in by the Raspberry Pineapple.

 

ROBBIE’S GOURMET SAUSAGE CO.

Robbie himself says his Philly Cheesesteak sausage is one of the best sausages he has ever made.  If you’ve ever had any of his sausages you know how big a deal that is because we say that about each and every one of his over 100 recipes.

 

Since the Street Food Fare is a pet friendly event, this one is for the dogs…

 

PAWSITIVELY A DOG THING

Pawsitively treats are made from the best human grade ingredients, with no artificial flavours and no artificial ingredients. Each treat and hand rolled and come in a variety of different flavours which are all wheat and corn free.

 

As always we’ll be giving partial proceeds to benefit TLC Animal Aid. Cost is $2 per person with kids 12 and under getting in free. It takes place at Lanspeary Park starting at 4:00pm until 11:00pm or food runs out. Whichever comes first.
