Rino’s Kitchen chef, Josh Fraser, is having some fun by choosing a theme for each of the three courses on their Winter Bites Restaurant Week menu.

For the first course, Josh gives three different versions of fritters a try before offering up three takes on stuffed butternut squash for the second course. Finally, for the third course, pie is the inspiration for each of the three options to choose from.

Another great thing about the Rino’s Kitchen menu: it has an option in each course for vegans to enjoy.

Here are our favourites from his special menu which will be offered from January 14-20, 2019:

RICOTTA FRITTERS

As you may have been able to tell from previous posts, we love cheese. A lot. So, a ricotta based fritter will always grab our attention. There is also a squash fritter with “aioli” option available for vegans.

QUINOA STUFFED BUTTERNUT SQUASH

While also offering up a beef stuffed as well as a spinach dip stuffed butternut squash, we like that the quinoa stuffed squash gives the vegans an option.

TOURTIERE

We love tourtieres. We love saying the word, “tourtiere”. So, naturally, we’d choose the pork based tourtiere to complete our Winter Bites meal at Rino’s Kitchen just so we could say it.
