Via Italia in Windsor, Ontario, is home to several great restaurants, including Bacchus Ristorante.
The restaurant, located at the northeast corner of Louis Avenue and Erie Street, is participating in Winter Bites Restaurant Week for the second time and offering up two menus this go around.
The popular restaurant week is taking place January 14-20, 2019. Here are three items that we think you must try.
I’m always a sucker for pierogies. These ones are homemade and layered on the plate with onions and served with a meatball and mushroom bechamel.
A nice, thick patty is topped with beer roasted mushrooms, caramelized onion compote and, staying true to being in Via Italia, some Provolone cheese.
A free range and roasted chicken breast is stuffed with peperonata, zucchini, and goat cheese.
