Tom Scully is doing his best to put the Windsor cocktail scene on the map.

The owner of F&B and The Grand Cantina took part in the Patron Perfectionists regional competition in Toronto, Ontario earlier this week and brought home the bacon. As a result, he’s earned himself entry into the national finals on November 14, 2018.

His winning drink? It’s called, Simple Things. Tom says it’s a representation Windsor and life, and a reminder to always stop and appreciate what we have.

The cocktail showcases rhubarb, caraway, fennel, some molecular mixology techniques, and of course, Patron Silver Tequila.

Every year, the Perfectionists Cocktail Competition culminates at the Hacienda Patróndistillery in Jalisco, Mexico. All 17 national winners from across the globe go head-to-head in front of a panel of judges who will decide which bartender is the Global Perfectionist Final winner.

Cocktails are judged on four criteria: appearance, originality, service/hosting and flavour.

Help us congratulate Tom and wish him the best in the finals.
