Every year, the Art Gallery of Windsor throws a viewing party for the fireworks display. This year the family friendly party takes place from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

In addition to the fireworks, guests can enjoy sandwiches, a cash bar, and kid’s beverages. There will also be drop-in studio activities, cultural performances, stay and play games zone, traditional tabletop picnic style games and docent tours all in a in a jazzy atmosphere. Did we mention they have 27 Andy Warhol pieces on display?

Love the excitement of the bangs of the fireworks thumping inside your chest? Perfect spot underneath one of the largest Canadian flags you’ll ever see. Be sure to get there early.

A ways away from all the action, the pier underneath the ambassador bridge provides a quiet place to gather and watch. Because it’s away from all the hustle and bustle, it also allows you to make a quick exit avoiding all the crowds and traffic.
