Andy Warhol is coming to Windsor, Ontario.

27 works of the iconic American artist are set to be showcased at the Art Gallery of Windsor starting June 2, 2018.

The Sandwich Project (Part Two) is an exhibit which will reflect on art and the economics of food. Along with the 27 Warhol pieces, works by Iain Baxter, Elizabeth Buset, Chloe Wise, Shelley Niro and others will be one display though to September 30.

All the works in The Sandwich Project (Part Two) will be themed around food as a metaphor for economic consciousness.

This Friday, June 1, The Art Gallery of Windsor will be hosting Fridays Live!, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The event is free for AGW members and $15 for the general public. Thyme Kitchen will be catering the event for some sandwiches.

WindsorEats will also be on site this Friday outside the gallery serving some great local beer from Sandwich Brewing Company. Our Friday Night Lights free bike ride will also be paying a visit giving our cyclists an opportunity to pop into the gallery during our stay.
