Always one to keep improving and push the envelope, the popular cocktail bar and restaurant, F&B Walkerville, has launched a new menu for Spring 2018, including a new cocktail list.
The special thing about this edition of the cocktail menu is that owner, Tom Scully, gave his staff the creative freedom to create their own cocktails. All but one of the drinks on this menu are from staff and they took full advantage of the opportunity with some great cocktails.
Here are 3 creations on F&B’s new Spring 2018 cocktail menu that you absolutely need to try:
GARDEN FIRE
An invigorating rush of smokiness followed with herbaceous crisp flavours, and finished clean with citrus, basil, and hops. Our garden was on fire preparing for this one, and we know you will love it. Leyenda Tlacuache Organic Mezcal, Green Chartreuse, Garden Syrup (with basil and cilantro), lime, house hopped bitters
KENTUCKY BLOOM
Sophistication and balance. Depth and Character. Two different phrases that describe this cocktail equally well. If you are a fanatic of Old Fashioned or Manhattans, this cocktail is for you. Not sure? This cocktail is still for you. If you don’t like Old Fashioned or Manhattans, you guessed it, this cocktail may still be for you. Jim Beam Black, Martini Bianco, cherry cordial, A-OH (Apricot, Orange, Honey) Syrup, cardamom tincture, thyme, lemon juice.
APRIL SHOWERS
If this cocktail brings May Flowers, we are in for a monsoon. Powerful and forthcoming, the flavour punch of this delicately designed and presented beverage is almost out of nowhere.
