Popular Walkerville restaurant, F&B, has once again revamped their menu for a new season and we were lucky enough to give it a taste.
We already showcased their new cocktail menu for Spring 2018, now we’re going to share with you our 4 favourites from their dinner menu.
SEARED SCALLOP

One U10 sea scallop, chamomile beurre blanc, vermouth honey and crispy prosciutto. Yes, the scallop is amazing, but, that chamomile beurre blanc. My goodness, the beurre blanc.
BUTTER-BRAISED RADISHES

Watercress pesto toasted pumpkin seed and vidalia onion are placed over-top some butter braised radishes. The sweetness of the onions, which resemble noodles in this dish, is a great touch.
SHRIMP ÉTOUFFÉE

The Cajun holy trinity: quinoa, pickled okra, buttery cornmeal crumble. Always love it when a dish is served in a cast iron pan. The fact that the food within this pan is incredible puts it in another league completely.
LAMB LEG STEAK

Lamb leg served with green pea and mint puree, cucumber and preserved lemon salsa, herbed feta and tahini yogurt. The beauty of the plating almost makes you feel bad eating it…..almost.
