The first Friday Night Lights bike ride is fast approaching and we’ve got everything planned and ready to go. So the question is, will you come get lit with us?
If you’ve never heard of Friday Night Lights before, here’s the deal. Imagine the sight of hundreds of colourfully lit cyclists roll by, bells clacking, as they partake in a pub crawl on two wheels appropriately named Friday Night Lights and always try to outdo each other with their decorations on each ride.
If you pay close enough attention, you may catch a glimpse of the couple on a tandem bike which has custom built chandelier installed to hang over them as they ride. It’s that kind of ride and the best part: it’s free to attend!
Our first ride, taking place May 4, 2018, will start at Willistead Park. Riders will begin arriving at 7:30pm with the ride starting promptly at 8:00pm.
The first portion of the ride is a short one as we Chapter Two Brewing, smack dab in the middle between Walkerville and Ford City. They’ll have plenty of beer and board games available to enjoy.
We’ll then roll on to Thyme Kitchen in the core of downtown Windsor before finishing the ride off at La Bodega in Via Italia.
