Chef Michael Smith of Food Network Canada fame will be cooking for two special nights at Mezzo Restaurant & Lounge.

The celebrity chef will Mezzo’s chef Pat Lizzi for a showcase of some of his award-winning dishes.

The sessions will take place on April 12 and 13, 2018. Each evening will start off with a reception at 6:00pm where guests will be greeted with a beverage and passed hors d’oeuvres before Chef Michael Smith welcomes everyone.

A 4-course dinner will then begin, with the menu in the style of Michael Smith’s The Inn at Bay Fortune on Prince Edward Island.

After dinner, 12 lucky guests will be invited on stage to perform a series of challenges which will determine “Who Wants To Be An Islander?”, with the winner being crowned an “Honourary Islander”. The winner will then, together with Chef Michael Smith, sabre a champagne bottle for their table in celebration.

Once the challenge is complete, a meet and greet will take place in the lounge where guests can purchase books and have them signed as well we take photographs.
