So last week was WindsorEats’ 100km Dinner and it was a huge success. So much so that another dinner is already being planned!

Our 5-course meal, put together by Three…A Tasting Bar, was stunning. Now that I have all the information in, here is the much anticipated release of what was used in the menu:

Antipasto Plate
All the produce in the dish came from Hric’s Orchard (519.738.3370), located in Market Square. The different sausages were purchased at Triple J Sausage (519.256.0034) at 925 Tecumseh Road West and the cheese at Galati Cheese which has two locations at 931 Tecumseh Road West (519.973.7510) and Market Square (519.977.7555) at 2109 Ottawa Street.

The Market Square website has a list of all vendors and their numbers to get a hold of them.

2nd course of the 100km Dinner was a mushroom soup.

Mushroom Soup
This amazing soup, which Jill loved even though she despises mushrooms, was made with items purchased at Highline Mushrooms on 506 Mersea Road, Leamington. The crostini bread on top of the soup (topped with a blue cheese) was purchased in the Market Square.

The perch salad was served third and was excellent!

Blackened Perch Salad
This tasty fish was bought over at Mr. Meat Market (519.987.0555) located at 2451 Tecumseh Road West. Once again, the vegetables are from the Market Square.

The main portion of the meal was the Rack-O-Lamb

Rack-O-Lamb
This item of the meal was a big hit. The lamb was cut at Modern Meat Market (519.252.5267) at 1673 Wyandotte Street East.

The bread pudding and ice cream was sooooooo good!

Bread Pudding/Ice Cream
Last, but definitely not the least favourite part of the 5-course meal, is the dessert. Alister visited Lakeside Jersey Dairy (519.326.4551) on 26 Setterington Street over in Leamington for the ice cream

Wines
Many of our 100km Dinner guests purchased the option for a wine tasting with each course. One was from Alister’s friend Steven Brooks old winery. Unfortunately. it is no longer in existence.

The dessert ice wine was from Aleksander Estate Winery.
