This week is going to be a wild and busy one at WindsorEats as we’ll be hosting 5 completely different, unique, and fun events.
If you’re looking for something to do to escape the wintertime blues, here are five things we think you absolutely must do this week:
LEARN TO MAKE SAUSAGES

The Be A: Sausage Maker classes with Robbie’s Gourmet Sausage Company have been going strong and there’s another one taking place Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
In the class you will learn the scientific principles that go into making sausages. From choosing your preferred meat, to binding, preparing your casings and figuring out the perfect ratio of spices. You will mix, stuff and tie your own links under Robbie’s guidance.
At the end of the class you will be able to take home 2lbs of the sausages you made to share with your family and friends. You will also receive a complete step by step write up of all the techniques discussed as well as as a master sausage recipe.
The class also includes 1 beverage and some prepared sausages to enjoy over the course of the 2 hour session.

GET YOUR TRIVIA ON!
Our Thursday Night Trivia hosted by Mack Flash Entertainment have been providing a fun and laid back approach to trivia nights. The winning team will receive $15 gift cards to any WindsorEats experience.
Doors open at 5pm for food and drink with trivia starting at 7pm.
DETROIT DIVE BAR TOUR
Hakuna Matata all night long as you travel magic bus style to some of Detroit’s hidden gems. There will be three stops along the way to bars that are oldies but goodies.
The WindsorEats D-Tour, (get it? detour?) will allow easy access for you to visit some iconic local hangouts in Detroit without the need to drive, allowing you time to focus on a good time.
Space is limited so grab your tickets to the WindsorEats D-Tour quickly!
Doors at WindsorEats open at 5pm for food and drink before you ride off promptly at 6:30pm (with our without you). You’ll return to WindsorEats around 11pm and be able to continue with food and drink upon your arrival.
DANCE ALL DAY AT AN ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL

This will pretty much be the perfect rave for millennials. Dance all day, from noon to 1030pm, and be at home in bed by 11pm.
FrostBeat will be Windsor’s very first winter electronic music festival. FrostBeat is a collaboration between WindsorEats and renowned Windsor DJ, Justin James.
The event is Apres Ski themed, and we encourage everyone to come in their best theme attire to take in the sounds of our headliner and Detroit legend, DJ Godfather.

WATCH THE GAME AT WINDSOR’S BIGGEST TAILGATE PARTY
WindsorEats will be hosting Windsor’s Biggest Tailgate Party and viewing of Detroit vs. San Francisco on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
We’ll be setting up a great tailgate inspired atmosphere to watch the game outside on a giant LCD screen wall with hundreds of other Lions fans. The game will also be on indoors.
We’ll be giving away a Bevy Box to the biggest Detroit fan who is dressed and painted over-the-top with their love for their team.
Rico Taco and Cheap Noods will be on hand serving the perfect tailgate food and WindsorEats will also be serving hot dogs and hot cocoa in addition to all our cocktails and beers.
Doors open at 2pm and lasts until the party is over! Windsor’s Biggest Tailgate Party is free to attend.
