WindsorEats is throwing an all-day St. Patrick’s Day party and you’re invited!

It’s an Irish celebration in Little Italy with Mexican food and Canadian beers in what is the anniversary of the very first event held in the WindsorEats space. Here are all the details you need to know about what to expect when you come out to the free party on Friday, March 17, 2023.

The celebration is taking place at WindsorEats’ location at 400 Erie Street East in Windsor, Ontario. The great thing about it is that it is centrally located allowing you to walk, bike, bus, or Uber your way to the party.

If the rain holds off, we’ll make use of our patio to kick St. Patrick’s Day up a notch. Thankfully, if it does rain, we’ll still be able to carry on the festivities inside.

Please note that if you’re using GPS, it’ll point our location to the corner of Mercer and Erie St. E. Look for this mural in the alley between Mercer and Highland. That’s where our entrance is.

What Time?

Everything begins at 12pm and goes straight through until midnight. It’ll be 12 hours of St. Patrick’s Day delight!

Will There Be Food?

What’s a party without great food? Rico Taco will be on site serving up their delicious tacos all day long, but if you’re having a hankering for some traditional Irish fare, our Test Kitchen will be serving up a traditional sandwich with layers of corned beef and mustard between two pieces of sourdough fresh from Steimar Bakery.

What’s The Beer Situation Like?

If you haven’t noticed, WindsorEats has a great selection of local and Ontario craft beers that will be available. We’re currently at 70+ different beers to choose from.

You can’t live in Whiskytown Canada and not offer whisky! We’ll be offering up a select menu filled with some great whisky centric cocktails.

Fear not, our margaritas will still be available to order.

Will There Be Live Entertainment?

Of course! Clusterfolk will be hitting the stage right when the doors open at noon to start the day off right. Len Wallace will then take the mic playing classic Irish songs with his accordion.

In addition to live music, Mac Flash will be hosting trivia beginning at 7pm before Clinton Anderson finishes off with another live folk music set beginning at 9pm.

It’s Friday, Is There Still Trivia?

We felt this needed a headline of its own. The answer is yes! Our Friday Night Trivia will still be taking place, but, it will start an hour earlier, beginning at 7pm.
