The 2022 edition of Bright Lights Windsor takes place from December 2 through to January 8 and there’ll be plenty for families to see, do and eat.
For those that love taking in all the treats available during this festival of lights, here’s our ultimate guide on what you can enjoy while strolling through the winter wonderland of lights that is Bright Lights Windsor.
ATTENDING 7 DAYS A WEEK
First, let’s mention all the food vendors that will be there each and every day of the festival.
RICO TACO MEXICAN STREET EATS
No, there won’t be tacos available at Bright Lights, but the popular food truck (which is always parked on the WindsorEats patio on Erie St. in Windsor) will be serving up churros and Mexican hot chocolate.
HEIMAT WINDSOR
Heimat Windsor is bringing Bavarian specialties to Bright Lights Windsor once again. They’ll be serving up pretzels (vegan), roasted candied almonds, pecans, peanuts (vegan), and dips, along with an assortment of rotating baked goods.
SIZZLER FOOD TRUCK
From burgers to hot dogs, the Sizzler Food Truck will be on site ready to serve.
WHAT’S POPPING POPCORN FACTORY
The company that started the Windsor popcorn phenomenon, What’s Popping will be cooking up kettle corn or soooooo many flavours.

Yep! We’ll be back serving up our gourmet waffles on a stick that have been a staple at Bright Lights Windsor since it began. Returning waffles will include the Birthday Cake (complete with a lit sparkler), Cookies & Cream, and more.
COTTAM CANDY
Walking around a festival/carnival with cotton candy should be a core memory of every child.
TORUS DONUTS
This new donut shop will be participating in Bright Lights Windsor for the first time with a variety of donut options to choose from.

THOMSON BAKING CO.
The Thomson Baking Co. will be a food vendor for the first time at Bright Lights Windsor. They’ll be providing everything from apple cider, a variety of cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, fudge, chocolate peanut brittle, and more!
SPOONTASTIC TREATS
This WindsorEats neighbour on Erie St. E. will be serving hot chocolate bombs, cookies, hot chocolate kits, pretzels, marshmallows and more.
MARCUTERIE
Known for their charcuterie boards, in addition to deli meats and cheeses they’ll also be serving chocolate and candies.
CHEESECAKE ON A STICK
Another first time vendor, they’ll be serving…you guessed it: Cheesecake on a stick.
DECEMBER 16-17

Waffles! Waffles! Waffles! Did we mention they’re on a stick?
COOKIE BAR
Cookie Bar is participating for the first time and bringing along their packaged cookies.
IL GUSTO
Cannoli, anyone? Grab some ricotta, custard and lemon cannoli, tiramisu and cream puffs drizzled with hot fudge served in a waffle cone.
ZULEEATS
These delicious Ghanaian meat pies are back for another round of Bright Lights Windsor!
DECEMBER 23-24

If you haven’t noticed the trend, WindsorEats and our gourmet waffles on a stick will be available the holiday weekend.
TORUS DONUTS
It’s donut time, again! Torus Donuts will once again be bringing a variety of their gourmet donuts.
SWEET MOMENTS COOKIE CO.
From pies, tarts, bags of cookies, bar and bites, Sweet Moments Cookie Co. will have lots of treats to snack on.
RASOI
If you’re looking for savoury, you’ll need to get your hands on one of their wraps ( chicken tikka!). There will also be samosa, chicken and beef puffs, and chicken tikka rice bowls available.
