WindsorEats is hosting another mini Street Food Fare on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Salt Sushi will be participating, bringing along some handheld sushi goodness.
In addition to many other classic sushi rolls and dishes, the Lakeshore, Ontario, restaurant will be offering up their brand new sushi burritos.
This fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine is stuffed with rice, crab salad, shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber and cream cheese, all bundled up in nori (seaweed sheets) which acts as the wrap and served with the most delicious of sauces to pour overtop.
Salt Sushi first tested out the sushi burrito at the 2022 Windsor Craft Beer Festival in mid-October. It was such a huge success they sold out.
The mini Street Food Fare is a family and pet friendly event that takes place on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 12pm to 9pm. Outdoor vendors include Salt Sushi, Rico Taco, Plant Joy, Zule Eats and, of course, WindsorEats and our new chef. We’ll have a great selection of beer (over 80 craft beers to choose from) and our course our margarita flights will still be available along with other cocktails.
There is both indoor and outdoor seating available on a first come, first served basis. Please dress accordingly.
