Joe Schmoe’s is offering dine in guests 20% off all food before indoor dining gets shut down as per Province of Ontario restrictions.
With indoor dining set to be restricted beginning at 12:01 a.m. on January 5, 2021, the LaSalle eatery is looking to unload as much of their inventory as possible and their customers will reap the benefits.
Here are 5 things on the Joe Schmoe’s menu we’d definitely recommend ordering:
THE PIG MAC
While you can’t really see it with everything else on top of it, there is a beef patty under there which technically makes this beast of a meal a burger. It’s loaded with mac n cheese, BBQ pulled pork, bacon, cheddar, fried jalapeno, onion strings.
CHICKEN CHORIZO TACOS
Can’t decide between chicken and chorizo? Joe Schmoe’s made it easy by combining them into one taco. Much like the name implies, this taco is filled with grilled chicken, chorizo, lettuce, sautéed onions, cheddar, deep fried jalapeños and sauced up with a sriracha mayo.
WEST COAST BURGER
Rumour has it that this burger is so good it ended the East Coast vs. West Coast rap wars of the 90’s. The patty is topped with deep fried avocado, tortilla strips, tomato, red onion, Jack cheese, lettuce and spicy mayo.
NACHOS
Cheeeeeeeeese.
You either love it, or you really love it. This is pretty much backed by recent studies that show it has the same effect on a brain as hardcore drugs. So when you find a serving of nachos that is just absolutely covered in it, you get a bit excited. We once wrote that the Joe Schmoe’s nachos could possibly be some of the cheesiest in the city.
LOTSA MOZZA BURGER
There’s two things that are a must if you’re ordering this burger: a monster appetite and an insatiable love for cheese.
The burger starts off innocent enough with an 8oz certified Angus beef patty. However, that’s where innocent ends. Next comes some mozzarella cheese, full-sized breaded mozzarella sticks, marinara, ranch, and lettuce on a brioche bun. It’s pretty much an appetizer-burger combo. The best of both worlds.
