The City of Windsor has officially announced the return of Bright Lights Windsor for December 2021, but the colourful spectacles and displays aren’t going to be the only draw for the 2021 Bright Lights Windsor.

An artisan market and food huts will once again be returning and WindsorEats is proud to again be a part of it. Each weekend, there will be a different, rotating crew of food options available for festival goers to indulge in.

Here’s a sneak peak at the food vendors that will be taking part throughout December and into January, and foods they’ll be serving:

WindsorEats

Well, since it’s been 2 years we’ll be bringing back our gourmet waffles on a stick. Over the last month, Pina has been busting her hump (and her recommended daily sugar intake) testing new recipes that will blow your mind.

What’s Poppin’

The gourmet popcorn factory will also be returning to Bright Lights serving up their popular flavoured kettle popcorn. Rumour has it they’ll be there every single weekday, too!

Road Chef

If you’ve been missing Road Chef during the pandemic, they’ll be coming out to serve some of their tastiness at Bright Lights.

Smashed Apple

Smashed Apple will be making their first appearance at Bright Lights. One of the items Chef Bill Deslippe is planning on bringing is their pulled pork. Mmmm mmm!

Heimat

Another returnee, the Heimat will be bringing German festive cheer along with them. That means warm soft pretzels, Bavarian desserts, and candied almonds.

Rico Taco

Ok, before your head explodes thinking you can get their birria tacos at Bright Lights, the answer is no. But, you absolutely can grab a few churros!

WE Care For Kids

The local charity will be on site serving up hot chocolate to raise funds.

All on Board

All on Board, indeed! Known for their charcuterie boards, they’ll be slinging individual Christmas themed candy boxes, as well as Christmas themed movie night boxes.

Spoontastic Treats

Who can say no to chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels , marshmallows, rice krispies treats, hot chocolate bombs, parfaits and cakesicles?

Zule Eats

Zule Eats is bringing the flavours of Africa to Jackson Park. They’ll be serving hot meat and veggie pies, Ghanaian chips, Ghanaian cookies, and butter tarts…because butter tarts!

Marcuterie

The charcuterie business will be offering individually portioned charcuterie boxes with artisanal cheeses, deli meats, bread, crackers, fruit, candy, and chocolates.

As we get closer to the dates, we’ll announce who’s attending and what the must-try food items on each weekend will be.

From December 2, 2021, to January 9, 2022, Bright Lights Windsor will once again light up Jackson Park with thousands of lights and stunning displays.
