Get ready to unhinge your jaw because Smokies BBQ will be serving up a behemoth of a burger at the Outdoor Food Hall this weekend.
Presented by St. Clair College and the Alumni Association, the Outdoor Food Hall turns Lanspeary Park’s outdoor rink into the city’s largest patio. It features multiple restaurants and chefs all on a single menu and it’s licensed to serve beer and wine, too! Since the rink has a massive canopy overtop, it also protects guests from the summer sun and any rain, offering an all-weather patio.
Called the Big Daddy, this burger was named one of 2021’s Must Try Burgers in Windsor.
With 2 patties weighing in at 18 ounces of beef, the Big Daddy is also the only burger on the list that is cooked over charcoal, giving it a great smokie taste.
This behemoth was inspired by members of the University of Windsor football team requesting a monster burger that would fill them up. It’s topped with a creamy pickle sauce, mild BBQ sauce, pickles, onions, lettuce, and two slices of real cheddar.
The Outdoor Food Hall is open Friday 5-9, Saturday 3-9 and Sunday 3-8.
