DOWNTOWN WINDSOR FARMERS MARKET + AMHERSTBURG FARMERS MARKET

Get an early start to your Saturday morning by visiting a farmers market. If you’re in Amherstburg, Ontario, head to GL Heritage Brewing Company as they host the Amherstburg Farmers Market. If you’re looking for a more urban feel, the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market opens at 8:00am.

YOGA & WINE

If an early morning at the market ain’t your thing, sleep in a little before making your way over to Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery for some yoga and wine.

Finally back for the first time since the pandemic ruined your life, you can join the winery for a fresh air, and an “all levels” yoga practice overlooking Lake Erie

Your $40 ticket includes yoga class, a glass of wine, a charcuterie/snack picnic box to enjoy down at the beach area and a donation to mental health programs in our area. The event is for ages 19+ only. Get your tickets here.

SCOOTERS, SELFIES & STREET ART

Zip around Windsor on an official Bird Canada electric scooter, rolling through streets and alleys to see the many visually stunning ways artists, both local and internationally renowned, have used the urban landscape as their canvas.

The Windsor Graffiti Scooter Tour will take you to some of Windsor’s best photo spots and ensure you get the perfect pic. It’s a great way to explore the city for both tourists and locals alike and you’ll be able to leave with great shots that will give all your friends FOMO.

The 12 kilometre route takes you to see well over 20 murals and takes you through one of the city’s most fabled alleys, highlights a side of Windsor many may have never seen before.

GET ON YOUR BIKE AND WINE!

Prefer bikes over scooters?

Meander through the farmlands along the Lake Erie coastline a la bicyclettand fall in love with Canada’s southernmost region on the Wine Trail Ride cycling tour.

Our friendly guide will lead you to enjoy world-class wines at Essex Pelee Island Coast wineries. You’ll roll through the scenic, flat countryside and take in the sights, sounds and smells of a burgeoning wine appellation.

The weather is going to be absolutely perfect this weekend!

MOVIES UNDER THE STARS

The Windsor International Film Festival’s drive-in series along the Windsor, Ontario, waterfront continues this weekend with one of our all-time favourite films being part of a double feature.

On Saturday, the evening kicks off at 7:45pm with a showing of Dazed & Confused. Following a 15 minute intermission, the (in our opinion) masterpiece that is The Big Lebowski will begin.

Cost for the double feature is $40 per vehicle. All tickets must be purchased online and there will be no ticket sales at the door. Entry is on a first-come, first-serve basis and all parking is assigned upon arrival. No parking reservations.

PRIDE FEST

Windsor Pride Fest is back this weekend at Lanspeary Park!

While there won’t be a parade this year, there’s still an entire slate of activities all throughout the weekend in celebration and support of the LGBTIQ2S community.

The highlight of the weekend will likely be the Queens of Pride drag show happening both Saturday and Sunday.
