WindsorEats is on the search for Windsor’s most iconic foods. There’s always dishes that all the locals know about and know where to get it.

Our city and surrounding towns are known for their food. WindsorEats wants to hear it directly from you what you believe are Windsor-Essex’s most iconic dishes that anyone living in or visiting the city absolutely must try to get a real taste of Windsor and its history and culture.

 

HOW DOES THE SEARCH FOR WINDSOR’S MOST ICONIC FOOD WORK?

Just like Eminem said, “You only get one shot”. We’re only accepting one response per email address so make sure you think it through and make it count.

Also, keep in mind, we’re not looking necessarily for your personal favourite. We’re looking for the most authentic Windsor foods that everyone knows and loves and scream Windsor-Essex.



 

When you’re submitting your answer, be specific! For example, don’t just say “Windsor pizza”. Tell us the specific toppings and the business it comes from.

This isn’t just a Windsor thing, it’s open to all of Windsor-Essex. The food can be from anywhere in Essex County.
