The City of Windsor has officially permitted WindsorEats to operate the Outdoor Food Hall in Lanspeary Park into November.

WindsorEats will be bringing Rico Taco and BZB Test Kitchen back to cook up some deliciousness on Saturday, November 7, 2020, and take advantage of the 20 Celcius weather. The Outdoor Food Hall will be open from 12:00pm to 8:00pm.

You’ll also be able to enjoy a selection of six Cured Craft Brewing Co. brews along with local Essex Pelee Island Coast wines.

Since the Outdoor Food Hall began in the first weekend of September, it has hosted 13 operational days and has seen approximately 3000 people walk through the door. This doesn’t even include the hundreds of orders we’ve received for takeout. As a result, we’ve been able to support hospitality businesses who were struggling during the pandemic with over $90,000 in sales from all the amazing people who came out and supported the project. Words cannot express the thanks and gratitude WindsorEats and the participating businesses have for you.

A huge shoutout also goes to the St. Clair College Alumni Association for seeing the value of the project and jumping on board as a partner and being a huge supporter of not just our event, but also so many other community events.

Here are a couple dishes that have been extremely popular that will be available this weekend:

The WindsorEats Outdoor Food Hall is a safe way enjoy delicious foods, supporting local chefs and restaurants. Located within the covered outdoor rink at Lanspeary Park, tables are spaced out at least 15-20ft apart and the entire ordering and payment process is cashless and contactless through your own mobile device. Vendors rotate and vary from week to week. Rico Taco and BZB Test Kitchen are confirmed for this weekend.

While not mandatory, we strongly encourage making your free reservation as it guarantees you a table and allows you to skip any lines.

If you can’t make it or don’t feel comfortable dining in, we also have a separate area just for take out orders which can also be made using the online menu.
