This week at the Outdoor Food Hall in Lanspeary Park we have a mix of new chefs and returning businesses with new menus.

Here's a look at the 3 dishes being served up by chef @ajdalupan today at our Outdoor #FoodHall in Lanspeary Park. Which one do you want to try? First dish: Seasoned and chargrilled boneless short ribs in a sweet and sour Korean onion sauce served over Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Second dish: Pan seared peppercorn beef tips in a @canadianclub whisky cream demi-glace with Yukon gold mashed potatoes. A classic dish from Three: A Tasting Bar. Third dish: Fresh marinated shrimp are sautéed with fresh herbs in a white wine garlic sauce with julienne vegetable and aged cheddar. Chef Anthony is busting out of his non-profit position as chef at the Unemployed Help Centre for the weekend to bring you some classic dishes from his previous restaurant, Three: A Tasting Bar. In addition to the popular Garlic Cheddar Prawns and Peppercorn Beef Tips, he’s also grilling up some short ribs that are an absolutely must-try.

 

BZB TEST KITCHEN

People kept asking for them so we brought them back. Their BZB Smashed Patty burger was one of the best sellers last weekend and will remain on the menu, but, they’re bringing some fresh goodies for you to try.

One that we’re most excited about is the Smoked Brisket mac & Cheese. It’s apple wood smoked brisket shredded and tossed in their infamous Monkey Sauce served on mac and cheese with a smoked cheese cream sauce.

Oh, did we also mention their serving deep fried candy bars?

Tropical Hut was a vendor a couple weeks ago and we received several requests to bring them back, so we did. While they’re bringing back some of the dishes from their last participation, they’re also cooking up some new ones including the classic Filipino dish, Menudo. Check out some of their dishes being served this weekend that we recommend you try.

 

THE MAGIC MUSHROOM HUB

The Magic Mushroom Hub will be participating in the Outdoor Food Hall, but, only on Sunday. They’ll be making vegetarians and vegans happy with an all vegan menu that includes an arugula tagliatelle pasta with a Mushroom Hub wild mushroom ragu and lemon and a sourdough grilled cheese with mushroom hub shrooms, apricot jam and Brie cheese which can be done with a vegan cheese.

The WindsorEats Outdoor Food Hall is a safe way enjoy delicious foods, supporting local chefs and restaurants. Located within the covered outdoor rink at Lanspeary Park in Windsor, Ontario, it runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Vendors rotate and vary from week to week. While not mandatory, we strongly encourage making your free reservation as it guarantees you a table and allows you to skip any lines.

If you can’t make it or don’t feel comfortable dining in, we also have a separate area just for take out orders which can also be made using the online menu.
