Chef Anthony Dalupan, former owner and chef at Three: A Tasting Bar in downtown Windsor, is giving you a chance to try some of the restaurants most popular dishes once again.
Since the popular restaurant closed in 2009, Chef Anthony has moved into the non-profit sector as chef for the Unemployed Help Centre and heading their Farm to Food program. He’s taking a break from that position for the weekend to offer the general public an opportunity to enjoy his cooking once again at the Outdoor Food Hall in Lanspeary Park.
Here’s a look at the three dishes he has created for the weekend.
PEPPERCORN BEEF TIPS
These beef tips are the original recipe from one of Three: A Tasting Bars most popular dishes. They’re pan seared peppercorn beef tips in a Canadian Club whisky cream demi-glace with Yukon gold mashed potatoes.
GARLIC CHEDDAR PRAWNS
Another popular dish from Three that was inspired by Anthony’s time in British Columbia. Fresh marinated shrimp are sautéed with fresh herbs in a white wine garlic sauce with julienne vegetable and aged cheddar. Served with garlic crisps.
GRILLED BEEF SHORT RIBS
Can you say *drool*?! Seasoned and char grilled boneless short ribs in a sweet and sour Korean onion sauce served over Yukon gold mashed potatoes. The Korean onion sauce matches the flavours of the beef to perfection.
The WindsorEats Outdoor Food Hall is a safe way enjoy delicious foods, supporting local chefs and restaurants. Located within the covered outdoor rink at Lanspeary Park in Windsor, Ontario, it runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Vendors and their menus rotate and vary from week to week. This weekend Chef Anthony Dalupan will be joining Tropical Hut Philippine Cuisine and BZB Test Kitchen for the entire weekend. The Magic Mushroom Hub will join them on Sunday. While not mandatory, we strongly encourage making your free reservation as it guarantees you a table and allows you to skip any lines.
