The cooler weather may finally be approaching, but, that doesn’t mean all the fun has to stop. Here are 5 fun things to do this weekend in and around Windsor, Ontario.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
It’s the final Friday Night Lights of the year this Friday, October 4, 2019! So head on out and have some fun before we pack the bicycles away for the season. We’ll be visiting 3 establishments as we roll through the city with our bicycles all decked out in bright lights.
Purchasing your ticket in advance is $5 or $10 cash on site. The ride departs at 8:00pm.
MILL ST. NIGHT MARKET
Who’s ready for another edition of Leamington’s Mill St. Night Market? We are! On Friday, October 4, Mill Street will be lined with vendors galore selling food, drink, art and more.
WindsorEats will be on site with our Traveller serving up some Autumn flavours with an Apple Cider Old Fashioned.
WINE TRAIL RIDE CYCLING TOUR
Not only is it the last FNL this weekend, this Saturday will also be our last Wine Trail Ride of the year. Hop onto our award winning cycling tour as we visit 4 wineries, sip some tastings, enjoy a progressive meal and just have a great time.
APPLE JACK’D RELEASE PARTY
GL Heritage Brewing Company is launching their Apple Jack’d beer this weekend with a lil’ shindig. The beer is made with real whisky from Wolfhead Distillery, located just down the road from the brewery.
The festivities take place all weekend long.
HIKE AT NORTH 42
Stroll through a hidden forest oasis on Hike 42 Degrees at North 42 Degrees Estate Winery. You’ll be lead on a guided hike, treated to wine tasting, and an outdoor camp style gourmet lunch. The hike takes place rain or shine. Tickets are $42 per person.
