The City of Windsor has approved another big step towards the Urban Wine Festival becoming a reality this summer.
City council has officially give the festival significant event status, allowing WindsorEats to now apply for the permits required to sell alcohol at the festival.

The festival is scheduled to take place from June 28-29, 2019, at Lanspeary Park. Not only are local wineries expected to be showcased, but, wines from across the world are also expected to be featured.
This will be the first outdoor wine-centric festival to take place in the region since 2014.
